Johnson wrote Piano/Forte and claimed that Kelly was "possibly the most natural dyed-in-thewool deep-inthe-bone actor I've ever had the pleasure of working with". Reilly affirms that Karel Resz, who directed her in The Yalta Game (Dublin) in 2001 was the one who taught her the most about acting. She added, "He was my masterclass." Without that show, there is no way I would have been able to do Miss Julie.
